I want to lower my coupe, and from the research i've done, i dont think the stock bolts are going to cut it. So im in the market for some lowering bolts, but I quickly realized that there are MANY brands out there.
So Im checking with you Vette Master's . Which ones do you guys suggest, and also please post a pic of your lowered C5 with the respective lowering bolts.
The only problem with the obsession everyone has to slam a car is, even though it looks better, it only defeats the whole purpose of have a great "driving" car. It drops the roll center, changes the camber rate, increases bump steer, and the spring rates go the heII when it bottoms out.

Thank you for your input, but I've already made the decision to lower the car.

Since you've already made up your mind, simply measure the stock bolts, then go to a local hardware supplier and get a pair of Grade 8 bolts that are 1" longer, a pair of corresponding nylock nuts, and 4 flat washers......

Just measured mine, that I took out, because the car was too low. What you need exactly, are 9/16's by 7 inch grade 8 bolts, 1/2 dozen grade 8 washers, and nylock nuts. Probably have to go to an actual bolt supply store to find them. I think it cost me $20.
