Default Reverse lights led????????????

I have some cree bulbs in, they work when I lock or unlock car... They don't work when car is in reverse??? What the hell is the problem

is it a 6spd?... if so look on the passenger side of the transmission and there is a 2 wire sensor, that is your backup light switch... unplug it and jump the 2 pins together on the harness end and turn the key to the on position... if the reverse lights come on then your switch is bad, its about $15-20 for a new one

its an automatic.

Agreed, the reverse lights have 2 fuses. One is for the approach lights, the other is for actual reverse function. Goofy huh

Default cree reverse lights

any other ideas guys? I cant figure this out and its been driving me crazy!

possibly a problem somewhere in the gear selector or the wiring from it to the reverse lights, you might have to get out the wiring diagram and start checking... did they work at one point and just stop all of a sudden?

I know they worked before I put the led bulbs in. now the oem light bulbs wont work in reverse either. checked all my fuses and the wires to the backup bulbs look great...
