I'm planning to lower mine a bit - the plastic air dam already scrapes too much - does this thing do the job with a lower profile?

Has anyone tried taking the stock front air dam and trimming an inch or so off of it? Do you lowered guys scrape all the time?

Yes, I've trimmed about an inch off all three pieces on mine. I have a short commute so I couldn't comment on temps afterwards. I still scrape but just recently added a carbon front splitter so I raised the car up some to compensate.
