I still have stock mats in mine, they don't look the best but in my opinion they hold up the best in a 6spd car because they have a heel pad... I had some other mats that looked great but were showing wear in the heel area within a year so I got rid of them and put the stockers back in... if they came out with a nice looking mat with a heel pad on them I would buy a new set, otherwise the stock ones will stay... hopefully I don't get into another argument with a certain someone over this subject

This is good to know. For the time being I think I'll recharge my stockers with a cleaning kit. Vacuumed them, but completely spaced wiping down the rubber heel pads. There's still daylight left, so I'm off to the garage to get it done!
