I had my LF turn signal socket replaced and now when the headlights come on, the turn signal flashes very quickly, as well as the dash lights. With the headlights off, it functions normal. I did just have the ACA bi-xenon headlights installed as well, but this issue came up before the aca lights were installed. The socket was pretty burnt up when it was taken out, leading me to believe it may have fried something in the column switch as well, causing the flickering issues with the headlights on. Does anyone know if I am on the right path, or am I out in left field arguing with the umpire right now?
I had an issue with my blinkers (both sides would randomly work) and turns out they are tied to the ignition switch. I'm sure someone else will chime in with more info and better advice though.
After some more research and fa****ling this afternoon, I think the micro relay in the switch is bad. When you take the switch from off to intermediate, the dash indication stays on, as well as the blinker acting like the bulb is busted. Same thing happens with the head lights on. None of this happens with the light switch in the off position though. I think the switch needs to be replaced to fix the issue, unless someone else has had this problem and found a better solution.
