How to request shipping

Ok, I know this seems nebulous. There is a part on Ebay I would like to buy. The seller lists local pickup only. It's over 1000 miles away

so I'm not doing that.
Has anyone arranged shipping for an item they want from THEIR (I guess we call it the buyer's) end?

There is a link to contact seller. You would have to make a deal with him, although it's obvious he doesn't want to go through the hassle of shipping the item..

You didn't say how large the item was. I bought a pinball machine from halfway across the country and found a truck service with a lift gate on line. They picked the item up from the seller and dropped it off in my driveway. Worked like a champ.

Contact the seller before making a bid and try to work it out if you win the auction.

IMO he's not interested in selling it then. Keep looking elsewhere...

I sold my exhaust system on Craigslist; it's the best site ever for local pickup.
