anyone recognize these? or know who makes sells them?
the flares and rear diffuser.
the spoiler is a bit much, but im sure would be beneficial for Autocrossers.
There's a guy on Ebay that is making them. I've been watching them for awhile to see if he is actually selling any. So far it does not look like anyone is biting. He's kind of going after the Liberty Walk or Rocket Bunny styling. Liberty Walk does some killer Lambo stuff!
I'm kind of liking the flares but the rest of it is so so. If you molded in and blended the flares you'd have a W-I-D-E body for sure! The "diffuser" and spoiler are questionable. I'd be willing to bet that spoiler at speed would require a serious front splitter to maintain safe and proper aerodynamic balance. Enjoy the ride!

I took a peek on Ebay but didn't see anything. If you do find a listing, please pm me the info (to keep everybody else here from vomiting all over their keyboards, ). I'd appreciate it.
I'm liking the exaggerated fender look and am thinking of building up a C5 as a "vintage race" look to mimic the Trans Am race cars of the early 70's. I like the exposed rivets/bolt look, gives the car an all business look for the track. It really isn't going to be long before the C5 qualifies for vintage racing.

I wouldnt put them in my car if they gave them to me for free. In order to make those fenders look decent the rest of the body needs to have wide body panels as well. It looks very odd with huge flares and stock body lines bythe door area.

Fixed for ya.

I'm glad you brought up the Fast and Furious movie....and obviously the ricers that wrote and produced that film had the supreme judgement to include the MOST iconic race Corvette of all time, the 1963 Grand Sport in one of their movies.
Although this is just a copy made by Mongoose, it is patterned after the 1963 Grand Sport....you know the one, it had crazy cut out fender flares, over the top hood extraction vents, huge tires and cutting edge aero for its time. Now I'm sure you hate the look of that car, but I for one would be honored to have a 1963 Grand Sport in my garage, even if it is a continuation model and not the original.
I was privileged to get to spend a few minutes with a real 1963 Grand Sport at the Sonoma Historics at Sears Point around 1997 (can't remember the exact year for sure). The new owner(s) had just bought it and allowed me to sit in it and check it out....then I got to watch him take it out and race it on the track, it was crazy!! Ever since then I decided I was going to get into vintage racing and have always liked the functional look of the American race cars from the 60's and 70's.
So again, thanks for bringing up the Fast and Furious reference because it did remind me of the most awesome Corvette ever...no wonder I like those bubble flares so much
No, that car looks great. The only thing it has in common with the car in the OP is that it too is a corvette. After that, all roads diverge...........

There's actually a lot more in common then them both just being Corvettes. Both cars represent a way to put wider tires on and still provide body work to cover them. Sometimes purpose built products are not as beautiful in the eye of one beholder as others. It doesn't mean they are less purposeful. Just because you don't like them doesn't mean others won't. That's what making your Corvette yours is all about. Is your opinion valid? Sure it is. However, sometimes a little restraint goes along way. I guess it depends on which road you're on and what direction the traffic is headed. All of the cars in the Fast and Furious Series represent someones idea of their dream car, ricer or not. Beauty is skin deep...ugly goes through to the bone.
Another fine example of a Corvette guy with no taste...wtf...it never end. I mean, did the guy even have the damn wheels when he did the plug mockup for molds!! The offset/fitment is HIDEOUS. Dear lord.
