The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Although I've been living in the Rochester, NY area, supposedly in the middle of the snow belt, for about 90% of my life, I'm originally from NJ, around the corner from you, in Perth Amboy. In fact, I had a couple of relatives who lived in Fords.
When my family first moved here, in the late 1950s, the seasons were far more defined. Right after Thanksgiving, we'd start getting snow, maybe not a lot, but generally some snowfall every day. Around mid-December, the snowfall would get heavier, and by the time Christmas/New Years rolled around, there'd be a good 2-2.5' of the stuff accumulated on the ground. The steady snowfall would continue, and then in mid-late February, we'd get one really good blizzard. But then, that would be it, and then the spring thaw would begin soon afterward. These days, we get a LOT, then nothing, combined with a thaw, then another hit, then a thaw, and like this year, the snow is dragging into April. And in the past, my cousins would be telling me how mild the winters are in NJ. These days, it seems that NJ is getting the snow that we used to....
I hope the snow stops by mid-May, however, as I have to come to NJ for my uncle's 95th birthday party. There's nothing worse than travelling south through NY and PA, on I81, when it's snowing!!
April 5th, squirreled away under her cover, and parked in the tent.
Today, April 9th, I snuck her out for a couple hours, even if it was only 54 degrees at the warmest part of the day.
She's back Sleeping.
Got quite a few 'LOOKS' and outright compliments while we were having our fun.
Plan is to go with the club and take a nice drive this weekend to Watkins Glen for opening weekend at the track.
Have been chomping at the bit to get the Vette out because I bought the car the middle of last September and have only been able to drive it maybe 4 times before putting it away for the winter.

yes sir!!
