Fuel tanks
I was looking for something to describe to a buddy of mine the dual fuel tanks on the C5 - found this very nicely done writeup - how different is this from what I have on my '00?

Not sure how your 2000 tanks compare to this. But this posting (thanks for finding) sure shows how someone made a simple gas tank operation into a very complicated and expensive repair job for any of the components in my 04.

Father in law owned the car at time. We were all coming home to Chicago from a summer vacation in Northern MI. I was about 2 hours behind him and got a call that they were sitting on the side of the highway getting a tow to a local dealer. Pump went bad if I recall, and they had to tear out the entire tank to get to it. Cost him a pretty penny and the car only had 17,xxx miles on it.
