I am already placing an order for some other stuff and would like to get everything from one vendor. RPI doesn't have the other items I am looking for.

Mud flaps ? It's hard for me to watch this thread. Your beautifully designed C5 is not a truck.
Putting mud flaps on your car is like adding something ugly, to prevent something much less ugly.
I know everyone likes to buy into the idea of adding something new, different, with the moral compass of protecting the car. The only ones that come close are the sculpted Z06 style. Anything that looks like a mud flap belongs on a truck
Lastly, in my opinion, my car as seen a lot of road miles, over 100,000 in 17 years. I put those rear brake ducts on my car 14 years ago, they have not been touched in 14 years and there is not a hint of road rash, anywhere, and I would never put such a distractor ( mud flaps ) on my car. Again, I get it where people want to add something to their car. They quickly learned to accept them, and want to drag others into the same decision, which in my opinion is only an effort to get some validations from others.

One year ago before I added the flares. No need for mud flaps.. anyone who thinks mud flaps add something to the design of a C5 are ....... well you know.

Behind the front wheel..90,000 miles..... No need for mud flaps.

Good Luck in your search!

You asked the question, Can you really tell??? I just laughed out loud when I read that.... the reason?
You could Not have posted a photo any farther away? Like I said everyone wants vali8dation for what they have done... where are the close up photos ? I blew that photo up to 400 % and yet the photo does a very poor job of showing the mud flaps ( it does not even show the flaps).. Not sure what you are trying to prove with this photo as evidence.. I said the ZO6 style is acceptable to me, but to me, they do not add anything.. So I've not seen any real issue without them ( Mud flaps ), So I had to offer the OP my opinion.. I can certainly afford mud flaps, and have the ability to add them, but as a designer, why would I ?

I responded to the direct quote, and answered the direct question posed. I'm out of this thread... I came in, gave my opinion.. I actually don't care what anyone does with their car. But when asked opinion, I'm going to give my non sugar coated opinion.

ET i dont know how yours stayed so nice?

My car is not a daily driver, although I take it everywhere. IM guessing a few drives on a gravel road could make a significant difference. WYSIWYG with my car photos...
One of the consideration for my rear brake scoops was the fact that they are fiberglass, a much harder sub straight than the ABS ones on your car. I don't drive my car where heavy road contaminants are present... specifically salt crystals. Some municipalities use cinders as a traction control product in winter weather. When I put in my rear brake ducts, ( my first attempt at body work ) I did not and do not have the ability to paint. I had a shop paint my scoops along with the rockers, I had them apply a product called Stone Guard clear coat. The product was an Old GM design used from the factory many years ago to protect stone damage on rocker panela on the Buick line...

You don't see them unless you are looking for them.
