Hey, I was just wondering if C6 ZR1 wheels will fit on my 2000 C5 Coupe without any issues as far as scrubbing or turning or anything and what the factory wheel and tire sizes are on the C6 ZR1. Also, what is the widest wheel/tire setup possible on the C5 Coupe without any issues? Thanks.
Thanks! I appreciate the help; sorry I had to make a post about it but I'm horrible at navigating forums haha.
What size tires are you planning to run? You can likely run the wheels, but you'll be rather limited on tire width unless you don't mind them sticking out past the fenders. I don't like tread showing outside the fenders, so I ran narrower tires to make them work.

I'm trying to find some 275 for the front and 305 for the rear but not sure what offset the rims are. I'm on west coast corvette's website and the only thing it says about the rims is that they're 18x8.5 for the front and 19x10 for the rear. I would assume it's a +56 offset like the oem version but I'm not 100% sure. Like you said I'm having a pretty fun time trying to find tires that will work lol. I've seen 275/55/18 but not sure what to do in terms of the 305 since it needs to be bigger by 1/2" to 1 1/2" than the front. So the rear will be 305/??/19. I agree that I don't want it to stick out but it's ok if it's flush or a tad past for me.

It sounds like you're looking at replica wheels which are designed to fit the C5. I am running 19x12 rear wheels on mine, which would be the stock C6Z width. If you're looking at replica wheels made for the C5, you won't have any problems.

Yeah the one problem I'm having is finding the right size tires. I've seen where somebody mentioned Michelin PS2's in 275/35/18 front and 305/30/19 rear and then I've heard other sizes as well. Do you think the Michelins would stick out a good ways or would it be pretty close to flush?
Also, 275/55/18 is way too large of a tire for a corvette. You would need to look at a 275/35/18 if you want that tire width. I run 245/40/18s on mine.
275/55/18 is more or less a size you'd run on a truck. I have 275/45/20 tires on my truck, which would be the same height.
Let us know if you have more questions, everyone is happy to help.

Hahaha yeah I've been noticing the truck tires lol. Ok good so 275/35/18 front is what I've been seeing on another thread I just found a few minutes ago with 305/30/19 in rear. The rear on that one would be big enough to keep traction control from kicking in in normal driving, right? Sounds like I need to just go the Michelin PS2 route then if it works good. Thanks for the help!

Honestly both of those tires seem wide for 8.5" and 10" wide wheels. You could probably run them but the sidewall will buldge, and to my eyes, not look good. Are the wheels available in wider widths?

They also have 18x9.5 and 19x12. This is the look I'm going for:

Those sound like C6Z sizes, and likely offsets, which would put us back at the original problem.
See if that image I tried to attach to the post several responses up will open and that will give you an idea of what I'm shooting for if you haven't already. That was on another thread but the poster didn't mention any sizes with the image. I may need to message him and see if he responds.

I finally found pics of a red one with the 18x9.5 and 19x 10 and it looks great. I think I'm going to end up going that route. I will post pics of it in a few minutes once I look em over a bit and get them saved. Thanks!
I found some on mid America motorworks' website that are 19x11 in the rear; would 18x9.5 and 19x11 with the tire sizes we talked about work?
you can go to this site and on the left side box plug in the front wheel/tire and on the right side the rear wheel/tire and you can compare all the stats. if you know the off sets for the wheel you can also see the backspacing for each.
