Default Question for the Chadwicks users....

I have some questions for the Chadwicks users.

It only took me about 4 uses to completely empty the 32 oz bottle. So in my mind, this isn't something that can be used to replace washing my car. Mine is an outdoor car. So although I only drive it in dry weather, it still needs more maintaining than one that is garaged.

So my question is how does Chadwicks and conventional waxes/polishes get along? If I polish/wax with a good product, but occasionally use the Chadwicks, am I going to negate all the work I did waxing the car?

I like the Chadwicks, but even after only a heavy dew, my car has water spots. So now, I have to either wash it or go over it again with Triple Play.

BTW, REALLY love the no sling tire shine.

Thanks for any and all opinions.

IMO, if it's just dew/rain/dust that is on the car (i.e. not driven in the rain picking up all the dirt and contaminants on the road), I would simply wash it with water...perhaps some car wash soap depending on how dirty it is...and use the Chadwicks maybe once a month.

So how often do you use it? Do you wash in between uses, or exclusively Chadwicks?

I quit using it. After using Chadwicks the car was a dust magnet. Rain? Waterspotted.

I use Zaino's Z-CS after a regular wash. Works a lot better and as a sealant it only takes 15-20 minutes to apply.

Rain beads, no water-spotting, and it resists some dusting. If you don't feel like washing it for a couple weeks they have a quick detailer that can be used on light dirt to loosen things up and wipe it off. won't hurt the sealant.

California duster helps as well.

Chadwicks is great for Garaged cars. For cars that sit outdoors 24/7, it doesn't live up to the hype.

Chadwick's only on the vette, the truck in the winter will run though the car wash, in the summer wash by hand some !!!!!!

I have to drive on dirt for a while and have no more dust than before Chadwick's ?????

My car is also an outdoor car, no garage in sight unfortunately. In the beginning I was using other wax/polish products with the Chadwicks but found that it was counter productive. All I do now is Chadwicks and if the car is totally soiled with heavy dirt and wheel well grime I use the good ole 2 bucket hand wash method.

Rejex for Outdoor cars or Indoor cars

No one believes until they try it...

Goes on thin and light
Comes off with a whip of a towel

Its a sealant - only need to do it once a year - if that
Can be layered - only gets deeper the more you layer it
If you want to kill it, clay the car first (or whatever kind of bar you like)

My wife's 2014 SRX4 - has 70,000 miles on it, is on the road almost every
day, in all imaginable weather, and it looks like it came off the showroom floor
with just a soap and water wash. Still beads like a champ.

Regards
Chip

So far, so good for me with Chadwick's. Haven't used it on my Corvette yet but I'm pleased with the results on my 69 Mustang.

I went through the first bottle fairly quickly, but part of that was the first application (which takes more) and part me getting a feel for how much to use on subsequent uses.

Being in AZ where the car never gets wet, cleanup basically consists of getting a layer of dust off the car (no California Duster on this surface). I've done that once a week the past four weeks and still have about half the bottle left. For me, it is much better, and faster, than the two-bucket/wash/rinse/dry method. It is so dry here that I couldn't avoid spots with the hard water here, which dries faster than I could put the microfiber to it.

Couldn't agree more
REJEX is a great product and outlasts all waxes and finishes I have tried over the years.
The only product that I have found that outlasts Rejex is OptiCoat Pro.
But OptiCoat Pro cost is $$$$$$

to say i dislike rejex is a huge understatement . the durability was terrible compared to what was suggested . if you like ''waxing'' rejex will give you lots of opportunity . this is my OPINION based on using it [ and giving it away with car we sold ] .

To each his own..........

I have used Rejex for over 10 years and have found it to be excellent. Have only applied it twice a year.
