Recently I was rear-ended that pushed me into the car in front. When the car was returned to me from the body shop, the rear and front caps seems to be a slight color shade off from the rest of the car. Most noticeable in the shade. The body shop said that it was normal for the urethane to be slightly off. I don't remember that it was that way before.

Has anyone experienced this? Any opinions?
Thanking in advance.
How many miles on the car? Any significant fading possible? It's tough to find someone with an eye for paint matching, and sounds to me like this may be the problem. There should be no differences in paint color, regardless of body panels.

Obviously, some key information was left out. Damage went into the hood, fenders and light covers. So the only areas that were not painted was the doors, roof and deck lid. A superb blending job was achieved on the rest. My only gripe is the bumper covers.
BTW, it is a high milage car, but always under cover.

Bumper covers will always have a different shade of color due to the different material. I always point out the differences to customers before we do any paintwork involving their bumpers. Very normal even on brand new cars. Take a closer look while out driving around and they will start to stand out once looking for the color variances.
