Turn signal problems
I'm having problems with my turn signals not wanting to work. It's happened twice in the last week. Not showing any codes. By the time I get back home, they're working again. I "think" it's probably a loose ground or the multi-function switch. They always work in the garage. Anyone had the same problems or can point me to the common grounds location.

Melting Slicks
Presuming no burned out bulbs, if you activate the turn signal and nothing happens, whack the dash just above the 4 way flasher switch.
Do the signals start to work?
If so, might need to replace the relay.
The 4 way button is literally connected to the relay.
It can be a PITA to replace, but it is a DIY job if you are not afraid to take apart part of the dash or the entire center console.
There's a couple how-to threads in the forums.

Drifting
You may have to replace the hazard switch, that's a well documented problem causing intermittent turn signal function. It can be done without removing the center console, just by removing the knee bolster below the dash. There's a video on here, can't find it now, and I did it that way, took about a half hour. Be prepared for some scrapes while you become a contortionist, but it's easier than taking apart the whole center of the car.
