my cousin has a 9 year old boy every time he sees my car he asks for a ride so a few weeks back i had nothing to do so i called my cousin got him on the phone and told the little guy to get ready we was going to have a mans day out, i picked him up and took him to chunky cheese in my corvette (his dad went to but followed us in his pickup) he loved it and talked about it to every one for a few days
its funny how sometimes simple things in life makes a life long memory
And 2 thumbs up from me, good stuff papa!
My 5 Y/O daughter and I were heading out a few days back. I opened the front of the garage to get something and she said "We're not taking your car are we daddy, I'm scared of your car" LOL
I told her not to be scared, it's just fun. And off we drove in mom's Grand Caravan.
One day I'll get her in there for a spin.

I live on a quiet residential street, never goose it around here. So honestly, unsure why she's scared of it. Maybe just that it's a tad louder than mom's van, maybe it's from some of the videos I watch from this site (including my own)?? haha
That is awesome pappy. I Often pick up my grand kids in one of my Corvettes, they think it is awesome. They are the talk of the school the next day. The smile makes my day. Only one at a time though.

Really nice story Pappy. I will always remember as a kid I got a ride in a 62 convertible. Was pretty much hooked at that point. I saved my money and when I got out of the military I purchased a 63 convertible. I have always owned a Corvette since that time. Now my son has followed in my footsteps and has had a C5 Z for several years. Really enjoy going to car events with him. Good luck with the car!
