Default Traction control console cover interchangeable?

Since I disconnected my F45, I see a traction control cover on ebay that does not have the ride control switch. Are they interchangeable, switch wise?

The ride control switch has its own wire connection, and I believe it throws a code if the wire is disconnected from the switch. I'm not sure, but you'd probably have to delete the F45 option in order to remove the ride control switch.

Perhaps some one with more experience will chime in.

F45 is deleted, I was worried about the Active Handling switch being the same on cars with and without the F45.

The cover itself is the same, and you should be all set if it's deleted.

Yes, it will interchange. I deleted the F45 from my car and got a NON-ride control TCS panel installed in it's place.

I just bought a 99, and whoever had it before me replaced the struts with NON-Ride Control struts. Anyone have the part number for the console? I can't find it online except in pictures.

Also, how do I delete F45?

Thanks

Default Follow Up

So, I disconnected the TCS/F45 piece yesterday to no ill effect. Does that mean F45 is already shut off, or will I not see the 80 MPH warning until I hook up the different console. I'm new to my 1999 (bought it in September).

Thanks

Verify you have no 80 mph limit and the F45 computer module is disconnected in the drivers side rear hatch small compartment. If disconnected never plug it back in. If this is your situation then F45 was deleted. Read post 8 above just to be familiar with what was done.
