How difficult is it to remove the window control switch panel? Can it be removed without tearing the whole door apart?
I just want to disable basically, the passenger side window up switch (or both), but still retain passenger side window control from the driver's side panel.
If I have to tear a bunch of stuff apart, I'll just have to learn to live with it as is.
My beagle has been my buddy in my verts for more than 10 years now. He watches me go to the garage and as soon as I make one step toward the Vette, he's there. "Take the vette, take the vette, to the park, to the park, go for hike, go for hike!" I simply cannot say no to him, and end up wiping the drool up later.
He keeps standing on the window up switch, then sticks his nose in my ear and looks at me to put his window back down. This happens a lot more in the vette for some reason.
You can get a set of inexpensive plastic pry bar tools from Harbor Freight. They have thin ends that are able to pop the window switches out with no damage, and leave no marks. The switches can be removed without taking the door panels off.
