Hey everyone, I have a question, recently I had my stock mufflers cut out and straight pipe put in their place, for the most part it has plenty of rumble and turns heads however, I can hear that motorboat sound at idle/light acceleration (you know the one I'm talkin' bout ) and I've read that an X pipe usually gets rid of that, so my question to you guys is have any of you used a universal x pipe like this?
If so, did it work as intended? I do plan on getting headers at some point but for the time being, $30 isn't too bad on the wallet and it looks like a nice quality piece, also it has the measurements of it in the description so could someone confirm that this x would fit correctly on my C5('99) if I were to buy it?
Problem with all the universal x's I looked into, was the center to center distance didn't match the C5 exhaust centers. I ended up having my fabricator slice the X down the middle to widen it to suit.
Wow $150 shipped for a Corsa X pipe is a really good deal I know they normally go for $3-400 I'll definitely keep the for sale section in mind, thanks SuperTom.
