Four Seasons AC Compressor
My 97 finally needs a compressor. My trusted mechanic showed me the dye leaking out of the casing using a black light. Started doing some searching and it seems that AC delco or delphi is the suggested brand but was curious if anyone has used the four seasons compressor. Almost a $300 difference here in Canada. Any input is welcome.

Four Seasons company has been around for a very very long time in HVAC repair parts business.
In another life I worked in the AP business for over 15 years and I never had any QC problems with that particular brand. Personally I prefer new, but if I had to go with a reman unit, they would be one of the brand names I would consider.

I have used new Four Season HVAC compressors on several vehicles but not my C5. I never had a problem with any of them.
I always did as suggested and cleaned the systems fully before installing compressors.
I would use a new one on my c5 if I ever need one in a heartbeat.
