Dashboard lights not working
I have a 2004 coupe. It's new to me.
With the engine running and when the headlights or parking lights are on the dashboards lights operate as expected and the dimmer **** also operates.
With the engine running and when the headlights and parking lights are off there are no dashboard lights. The dimmer **** has no effect. I'm sure I have inadvertently set some weird security mode but I can't figure it out.
What have I done!?!?

Had a panic attack on a trip with the wife one day... the cruise resume function wasn't working... it did AFTER I finally set the cruise...argh

Maybe NOT a senior moment...
In our 04 vert the dash lights, the overhead courtesy light, and the door control panel lights ALL come on when you open the door...
Not even the key in the ignition...
It is pretty handy when it's dark in the garage or outside to have those lights come on...

04... open doors and dash lights, a/c controls light, radio, door control panels and the overhead courtesy lights come on... after about 20 seconds the dash lights, a/c controls, and the radio lights go out...after about another 20 seconds the overhead light goes out leaving the door control panel lit for another few seconds...
put the key in ignition and turn on (not start) and no panels light up...
start the car and no panels light up...
turn on parking lights, with the car running and all dash lights, radio, a/c controls and door control panels light up...

That's what mine does!
