Black Hills Classic
Has anyone done this?
How was the experience.
I shouldn't admit it, but I live in Minnesota and have never been to the Black Hill (Mt. Rushmore); seems like a good opportunity.

I did not know about the Black Hills Corvette Classic when we planned our June Black Hills road trip last fall. If I had known we would have done it. If you go, let us know how it was and maybe next year.

Hi jmohn - I'm with the Sioux Falls Corvette Club and we host the Black Hills Corvette Classic event. We would love to have you come for the event - if you have any questions please ask me - its a great 3 days.
FYI - our entertainment on Saturday night this year is Deuces Wild Dueling Pianos! We had them about 10 years ago and haven't been able to get them back until this year. Also don't miss Wednesday night in Sioux Falls for Hot Summer nights - a Corvette, Harley, & Rock & Roll street party with lot's of food & beer vendors.
We park hundreds of Corvettes downtown and about 15,000 people show up.

Was surprised many of the "tours" were already full (I guess we can find Rushmore on our own
); and several motels already had no vacancies. Apparently this a very popular event.

Got to love the black hills cruises. Been there the last 4 years. The scenery and the large number of vettes make it an absolute blast. I am spoiled tho, only 2 hours away from some of the most beautiful land in the world. IMO

We were planning on it last year, but a number of the cruises were limited to a small number of cars. Last year I didn't see any way to sign up for them until you were there. I would like to go, but I want some of the smaller limit road trips, so I didn't go last year.
I was thinking about the same trip but on my own so I can do the trips on my own without a sign up limit. Maybe I am wrong about not being able to sign up early for them, and if we can lock in the side trips we want I would love to go with the Corvette group.
