When you turn the key to the on position but before you turn it to the start position all the "idiot" lights on the dash come on for a few seconds and then go out EXCEPT for the check engine light and the check gages light which remain ON.
Those two will go OUT once you start the car if there are no problems that would cause them to stay illuminated.

You could have a lamp burned out on the instrument panel. Or - has the CEL been disabled in a tune? Someone with a Tech II tool can manually turn on the CEL which would eliminate the possibility of a burned out lamp.

Kind of weird. I ran the on board diagnostic, Still shows no codes, other than my left rear tpms sender is not sending. That tpms sender has been out for over three years. I Will be replacing all of them when I install new tires.
