Default engine ID question

I am the original owner of a 2001 C5 coupe. This vehicle was delivered to me on 10/9/2000. the car had 37,000 original miles and was totaled a few months back, I kept the engine..sold the intake and heads and oil pan..kept the short block.
I am trying to sell the block, however, the casting numbers show it as either a 1999 or a 2000 LS1 engine. I checked using the Black Book info.
The casting numbers are: 12559378 a 346 ci, 345 hp block.
the Black Book shows for 2001 block # 12561168 346 ci, 350 hp and 385 hp.
The only diff i see in the 2 blocks is GM changed the cam profile in the 01 engine.
now..there is a Serial # tag on the block # 10ZCC K002280675.
The car has early VIN numbers for that year..ending in 104291
How do I find out if the block is in fact a 99-2000 or a 2001 block with updated cam?

Anyone got a guess?
Thanks, T
