A4 shift indicator and lamp replacement
OK, so I join the crew of persons having replaced the broken shift indicator and lamp on a C5. The fix wasn't too bad. The cause is what IS bad. Take a peek.
Yes, the front signal housings get damaged due to excessive heat from DRL's. Now this too. What are the engineers thinking?

I replaced mine with an LED. Problem solved!
Still a bad engineering platform. Light shouldn't melt the diffuser.
