Gotcha, thanks, figured that out....instructions not as good as I thought.
New problem.
Build complete, car turns over but won't start. Checked all the electrical connects that I can find that would make it not fire...coil packs, plug wires, connection for fuel rail, connect behind passenger cylinder head, ground on rear of drivers side head, maf, tb, both fans.
Per header instruction I added the jumpers to the front 02 sensors and moved the rears to the front and capped the rear bungs
At a lose, have and appointment with a tuner 2 hours away tomorrow, really trying to get this figured out tonight

Believe it or not, I took the "dot" for granted...
Viewing the photo of the "gears aligned" from my smart phone, I couldn't see the "dot" on the crank gear....what I did see was a casting mark and assumed that was the "dot".
It wasn't until the car wouldn't crank that I blew the picture up and could then see the actual "dot"...stupid mistake on my part.
I just can't believe the amount of damage done and I heard no abnormal sound..no audible indication that timing was off when I turned the car over...weird.
Lesson learned...will hopefully wrap it up this weekend.

Sorry about your trouble.
Always, after completing an engine, turn it over by hand a few rev and look/listen/feel for anything not right.
