<br >I recently purchased a 2003 Corvette. I have always wanted a C5 Corvette and I looked long and hard for one. I bought the car in October of last year from a dealer in Houston Texas. I actually drove three hours to get it and could not be happier. It had 88000 miles on it with current service information. When I tested drove the car it handled great and I loved the acceleration. The car was very clean from the engine down to the interior of the car. I love having the 50th anniversary emblems on the front and read hoods. I drove the car home for the three hour trip and fell in love with it. It is really fun to drive and handles like a dream. I got it up to 120 miles per hour and it was driving great. I haven't had any problems out of it but I did replace the brake pads and rotors to be on the safe side. Ever since I have had it I barely touch my C4 1992 Corvette. I could not be prouder of my C5 Corvette and I love taking it out on the road with the top off. I only drive it on the weekends and I keep it in the garage. I would recommend the C5 to any Corvette collector or just someone who loves great sports cars thats fun to drive.
I learned a lot during my time in looking for this car. I am hoping to find a reasonable priced C6 ZO6 or a ZR1, those are my next dream cars to get.

Was that Mak Haik Auto Direct? If so, I had looked at it a couple of days earlier and came in to buy it that day, but you beat me to it by a couple of hours.
I forgive you though, because a month later I found the right C5 for me.

Congrats... couldn't agree with you MORE... I have had some GREAT cars but the C5 for all around look, performance, handling, comfort, reliability, fuel mileage, etc... WE LOVE IT
