CAGS question
On my new to me '04 I have never seen the 1 to 4 icon on the dash.
However the 1 to 4 shift is in place and seems to work as the factory intended it to work ie: vroom, chug,chug,chug.
Since this is a previously one owner car and is apparently box stock how or why would someone disable the light and leave the goofy shift in place ? Is it possible for that icon to "burn out" ? Or is there a particular fuse that controls just the light ?
I recently bought the jumper wire kit to eliminate the 1 to 4 but I am curious about the light, or rather the lack of a light. Bob

Could be that it is just the light is out. If the 1-4 shift still works, that would be my guess.
