In my mind a rational person thinks "hey, this car has been so reliable, even though the transmission just went out, why would I sell something that's only failed on me 2 times is 700k miles?
If the guy was trying to dupe the Internet, why would he bother mentioning the two transmissions?
It's no big deal to me either way, c599 has a 500k+ c5 that I've seen personally, do you doubt his car too? He's been through 2 transmissions as well, showing the 4l60 might just be the weak link in an auto car.

I don't consider (2) 4L60 transmissions in 500,000+ miles or 700,000+ plus miles be the weak link in an auto car. How many times would a 6-speed manual and the clutch have to be replaced or rebuilt in that many miles. The 2 highest mileage C5's discussed in this thread have 4L60 auto transmissions. You vouch for c599's mileage and nobody knows for sure if the 700,000+ mileage car is real. 2 transmissions in both of those C5's with that many miles to me is incredible.

It will show the mileage of the Vette at different points in time over the life of the car.

Does Florida require emissions testing every 2-3 years for license plate tag renewal? I know in Wisconsin there are only 5 counties that require it. If no emissions testing is required, mileage updates wouldn't be reported to the DMV unless car is sold and new title issued.

It never lists the Vin with this method, unfortunately. It does come back as a 2000 Corvette with records. I guess they don't want people to get your vin number without paying
