Error Codes

What's up all?! I'm writing with what might be a really stupid question. My C5 Z06 needs new rotors and pads. I ordered dba slotted rotors and hawk ceramics and I'm about to get them installed.

I was also driving to the grocery yesterday and the car threw up error codes saying that I needed to service ABS and the traction control system. Is there any way these two could be related?
