What do convertable owners do to store sun glasses, cell phone garage door opener and any other small items. I just bought my vert about a month ago and I"ve got small stuff rattling around all over the place. I don't feel like reaching into the glove box anytime I need my sunglasses or whatever. I had a coupe before this one and storage for these kind of items was just a short reach behind me. Any suggestions?

I use the lockable glove compartment and the lockable center console. Garage door opener in center with sunglasses. Owners manual and other docs in the glove.
Their is a spot above the rear view mirror which is actually the steel for the front of the vert top that is a good spot for sunglasses. Only issue is when you lower the top prior to taking your glasses out - then you are back in the top digging for your glasses. Otherwise convenient

Sunglasses clipped on passenger visor installed a home link in drivers side visor cell phone sits in cup holder ( too shallow for a drink anyway) any other small items in center console
I store my garage door opener on the windshield frame trim. Bending the back tab a little allowed it to slip in behind and clasp against it. Obviously the design of the opener will dictate how well it fits but most of the pager-sized openers with the U clips will slip in there.
I wear glasses so I just slip my glasses on my shirt when I'm wearing my prescription sunglasses. For the smaller stuff I just throw it into the cup holder; it can't actually hold a cup anyway...
