First Vette

Well, finally picked up my first Corvette, it's an 02 with 53K miles(54.5K now). I've owned 3 LS1 camaros and an LT1 TransAm in the past, and this Vette is hands down the most fun car I've owned.

Here is a short list of the mods done to it:

EnglandGreen Whiplash 2 Cam.
RPM 3.42 Differential.
Monster Clutch Level3.
VaraRam Ram Air System.
PCV oil catch can.
LS2 Timing chain.
GM ported high volume, High flow oil pump.
160 Degree Thermostat.
Patriot Extreme Valve Springs.
Chromoly Pushrods.
25% Underdrive size crank.
AEM UEGO AFR Controller.
ECS Transmision/Rear End Brace.
ARP Flywheel
Tick Performance Hydraulic Master Cylinder.
XS Power LT headers and exhaust.
Bilsten Sport Shocks.
Kirban Short Throw Shifter.
C5 Z06 Sway bars.

I attached a small video of it idling.

I have plans for a boosted build, maybe even a boosted 6.0 liter, and a built trans. Gonna enjoy it as is for this summer.

Any advice for a turbo kit ?
Does anyone have a RPM built transmission ? Thoughts ?

Can you post the cam specs? It sounds great. And did you remove the Catalytic Converters?

Unfortunately EnglandGreen considers the cam specs proprietary. They do say the whiplash2 is a 24x intake/25x exhaust with a .630 lift and 113 LSA.

The car does not have catalytic converters anymore.

Congrats on your new vette! Yes.....turbo and built RPM trans would be amazing. I wanna say there are a couple turbo kits f/s now in the c5 f/s section.
