I'm planning a trip to a place called tail of the dragon. It's in the mountains with all curvy roads. I have the selective drive and was wondering should I select the sport or just leave it in touring mode (where I always leave it). Does it make a difference?
I was just there a few weeks ago. I doubt you would be able to really tell what mode you are in as the speeds are actually pretty low. You will have your hands full maneuvering some 318 turns in 11 miles. You probably wont get out of second gear and you probably wont get going faster than 35 mph! I've driven my 01z06 anumber of times as well as my 69 Camaro AND my Ford Expedition! A fun road and great scenery to enjoy. There are various photographers along the way taking picures of you as you go thru the turns . K
