Default Internal storage ideas C5 Vette

I am looking for ideas and devices for internal storage in my vette. Mainly interested in storage around the shifter area. Looking for storage accessible while driving the car.

Will be interesting to see what ideas are posted. There just isn't much room in that area to put something for storage. The only thing I can think of is a vendor at one time at least had a small pouch (kind of like a fanny pack) that was attached to the front side of the bottom seat cushion.

I remember seeing something like a fanny pack device that was mounted near the shift console as well

I have one of these.

I don't put drinks in mine much. More likely a phone and house keys....... that sort of stuff.

For me it's the cup holder for my phone if needed. Otherwise everything is usually just in my case on the passenger floor.
What are you looking to store? There are posts specifically for guns for example if you search...

That's what I use. Great for sunglasses and reading glasses. I use the original "cup holder" for what is was designed for, loose change.

I use a Bluetooth transmitter to play Pandora, satellite radio, and Podcasts to the factory radio. The transmitter plugs into the cigarette lighter. So I kind of want the phone accessible and within reach. I am a holster maker for conceal carry firearms and I am considering how and where to keep my personal firearm, accessible and within reach. The built-in cup holder is to shallow, I am not comfortable using it for fear of the or bottle tipping over. Something deeper would be preferable. Are there organizers that use the existing cup holder?

Anyway, there are questions and ideas. I've had (love to use the term) "my Corvette" for one whole come June 2nd 2016. There are lots of Corvette things I am just getting my head around. That is why I joined this forum.... To learn about the ZEN of Vette.

I would think you could incorporate one of your CC holsters with or into the knee bolster area beneath the steering wheel...?

Mine are very convenient and stay out of the way (From Vette Essentials). They attach with velcro sewn into the front of the seats, so they are removable and with the provided belt can be taken with you as a wearable fanny pack (however you may be directed toward the Trans-Gender bathroom if you do).

I have tried many different FM transmitters. The best one I have used and are still using is the GOgroove FlexSMART X3 Bluetooth FM Transmitter.

Sure the knee bolster is a common location for CCW holsters. It will likely be in the knee bolster or at the front of the seat. In fact, I like the front of the seat for the other things I need to carry in a car with limited space as sports cars.
