Yes I did. Picked it up with a friend. Best 110 mile drive home ever!
Super easy to drive. But you all know that. Been poking around at every nook and cranny. Flawless. Zip tie mod done. Side bolster mod done. Front hood seal coming today. White hardbar delrin shift ***** ordered. Didn't know if I wanted 3 inch or 4 inch so I got both for the time being!
Took me about 15 min. No seat removal necessary. I did both seats, all 4 bolsters. I'm 5'11" and 150. The seats hold me in tight now. They're really firm too. Incredible.
Tips from me? I found that the plastic "rails" went into their "housings" easier than some have said. Just think about how they need to go back in and do it. Try to be gentle on the foam when manipulating it. I found it easiest to get into the car behind each seat when doing the inboard bolsters. In the video, he uses tape on rough edges. Do it. I used 3 layers of duct tape anywhere that may contact the leather. The feeling is incredible.
Did you order headers yet? Or maybe lowered it... let the madness begin.
No headers yet. Looking into LG's though. Someday. Haven't thought of lowering it yet. We'll see.
Gave it it's first bath the other day. I'd like to seal the tail lights soon.
I hadn't driven stick for 10 years before I bought this. Even then I was barley learning. Still getting to know the car, super easy to drive though. My skill in it just needs smoothing and refining now.
