First step is to remove all 30 bolts from each wheel

Find a safe place to put them if you are going to reuse them:

Next what you want to do is separate the rims by cutting the sealant:

Now that everything is apart...sit back and take a photo to post on social media:

So I went ahead and got the lips and faces powdercoated. The wheels I got were used and had been taken apart once before. I decided to contact CCW directly and just order the race hardware.
Here is what I went with for powdercoating

Next comes the fun part! You have to completely remove the sealant using a razor and a wire wheel:

ready to be put back together:

So next following the advice of the ccw how to video on reassembling these bad boys I went ahead and went to town!
Here are the results:

And of course since Im getting a forged and larger motor, oh and larger turbos I figure I might need these now!

Good idea having the hardware a different color then the rest, you really needed some contrast there
curious how did your engine fail? was it the valve springs?
I ordered larger fuel injectors to run more boost and e85, one of the injectors failed open flooded my piston with fuel during the tuning part (it cycles the fuel injectors and fuel pump) when we went to turn it on the motor essentially hydrolocked and a piston rod and my crank got lodged together. So now im doing a forged 370 iron block and upgrading to the larger upp turbos.
