Dash defroster grille
Are the 2004 dash defroster grilles available ? If so which vendors ?
Today I was wiping the dust off my dash and noticed a couple small plastic bars on the floor. The next thing I know the whole defroster grille is disintegrating. Wow, was that thing brittle, must be from the 12 years spent in the Florida sun.
Also, what are the two devices on the ends of the grille ? They look like small lights or sensors of some type. Thanks, Bob

Those things are delicate as hell and easily break at the drop of a hat. The grill just presses into the opening and I found the best way to remove it is to NOT use ANY of the grill bars to pry on, but rather use a plastic tool or even a credit card to gently pry around the OUTER edge, between the grill and the dash itself.
