Z06's don't come with run flats. Don't check the hoses and any of the other rubber. Replace all of it, including belts. Replace the brake fluid with DOT 4. Get a 4 wheel alignment when you get new tires.

the first thing you should get (aside from wheels and a drop ) is new valve springs

How high is the hatch (or trunk in my case) supposed to open? Mine barely pops up until I pry a finger or two between the trunk and the fender gap.

I think the spec is 1mm (lol). That is pretty common. I used WD-40 on all mechanisms - struts etc and now it opens enough for me to get a finger under it. There are aftermarket springs etc etc- do a search and you'll probably find a few threads...

I posted a DIY a couple of weeks ago. Costs next to nothing. If you're a pack rat like me, it does cost nothing.
