Key fob issue

Default Key fob issue
2002 coupe.
Key fob works when it wants to...
Replaced battery, cleaned all internsls with alcohol wipes... No difference.
Also getting a service tpms dic message intermittently. Started to wonder if they could be related? Is my c5 going deaf?

Sounds like it could be the receiver since it works both devices.

Won't hurt and if you're not comfortable soldering, check with some friends or heck, if you have kids they know someone who does solder. No worries, show it to auto shop guy or electronic shop, probably do it dirt cheap if not free.

Mine does not lose sync, I do not have to re-sync the fob, it just works when it wants to. Would this still apply?
