Thank you Rob & Pete for following this through.

I am very grateful that people are still making modification options for our C5's. They are truly beautiful cars from the factory, but I like to add my own personal touch to all of my vehicles, and as long as it makes me happy, that's all that matters. (unless someone out there would like to sponsor me)

You should be able to do this install by yourself. From what I have seen from some of the beautiful mods you have done to your car you should not have any problems with this install.

I put mine on by myself but a second set of hands would have been great. I did mine with the car sitting on jack stands, if you have a lift it should be easier. Just use all of the instructions that have been posted and it should go well.

Did you have to drop the stock mufflers to gain access to the mounting hardware through the rear vents? Or can you get to them without removing the mufflers?

If you have a canister type muffler removing them will ease the install of the diffuser. If you have a chamber exhaust like a B&B bullet you can work around it without removing. I would recommend going to your local hardware store like Home depot, Lowe's or ACE True Value and grab some of these storm door window brackets. They are for holding the lower part of the diffuser to the rear bumper near the wheel opening. Better than the cheesy rubber bumper and washer they supply. I also bought some 2" rubber washers to aide in some cushion to the back side of the vent mounts.

Have to agree with you on this... Thanks very much to the OP, but based on this I'll pass on it.

Sorry I haven't been on the forum for a while been busy. But yes I installed it by myself total time with removing all the exhaust maybe 1.5 hours. It took me longer to find the bolts and brackets I used then it did to install it all.

Yes with stock style mufflers you will want to pull the exhaust just in front of the axle then install the mufflers after the diffuser is up and the put the pipes back on. pretty easy with that method.

Thanks Steve for all the angles. Some pics it flows well others it looks chunky. I will have to wait I find someone local and see it in person. Off topic but I like your wheel colors with the green great contrast!

Thanks, the wheels used to be more metallic with the gold but the plasti-dip fades with time. Just not as shiny as they where. But yeah in the pics it looks odd but in person the diffuser looks way better, I just couldnt get a picture to match up the way it looks in real life.

Thanks for the pics ,but I think there is a handful of us who can see 100 pics and still not decide if we like it or not. Maybe the only way we can decide is by seeing it in person .

Hey guys, mine arrived today but didn't come with any hardware or instructions. Can someone please tell me what hardware to use and where and what size holes I need to drill?
