drove the 2000 a few miles today and had to stop and read manual to adjust h u d so i could see it . had the car over ten years now and have to read manual to do anything on/in car . still haven't figured out how to get fresh outside air . i just push the automatic button and end up with air conditioning . the car looks really nice with the new wheels [wifes car wheels were her choice] but rarely see it as it's covered in garage . i'm not complaining just frustrating i can't learn to do even simple adjustments with out '' the book'' . . . peace.....ps . another 990 miles it will be 40,000 so in about 4 1/2 to 5 years .

Nothing wrong with having to look in the manual for some guidance. That's what it is there for.

to get fresh air:

Press the mode button until the icon shows the air path you want. Turn the driver temp **** all the way left until it shows 60 degrees as the temp - that's the lowest it will go. Adjust the fan speed and turn the AC off. This puts climate control in manual mode. It's a pain to have to turn the AC off every time you do it but that's the way the system is programmed. Note that the fan has to be on for this to work.
