Default High altitude high temp

11,000 ft mountain temp was 228 seamed too cool down pretty quick was worried if that temp was way out of normal was not driving hard multiple stops for photo opps.once speed got above 35 mph it dropped to 190 outside air was 90 deg.

Seems about right. I live and work at 6,000 feet and occasionally go to up to 11,000 when I have the time for a good ol' country drive. I average around 190 degrees on the highway with outside temps in the +90 range. For stop and go traffic, 220 is seen quite often (+90 degrees outside with air conditioning running) and once I get onto the freeway, it drops back down.

Air is much thinner at 11k' I'd expect it to run hotter and feel less powerful...
