Default best Bra

Just wanting opinions and thoughts. I think I want a bra for the front of the C5. Wanting one that I can use for road trips but take off for town stuff. I also want it to transfer from one car to the other, i have two c5's. Is there a better bra? Is there a down side? Should I just go with the plastic film? Just wondering.

Clear bra is the best option.

But if you want to switch between cars, check out Speed Lingerie Bra's.

I recently got the Novistretch for my road trip. Super easy on/off. 3 minutes had it on or off. It did an excellent job keeping bugs off and I had zero chips when I got home. I do not think it would protect against large debris or stones, but in my case it worked great.

I have the same and love it for when the grass hoppers great crazy up here. Easy on and easy off. Sheer enough to see the corners light and the license plate. Highly recommend this. I love how easy it is to clean also. Fill a sink with water and let it soak for a hour. Rinse and hang to dry. Done deal

I have a black vinyl bra fo my 04 not sure of the brand. It looks good and does a great job protecting the nose but when summer temps get upwards of 100 it has to come off or the engine runs about 15 degrees hotter than without.

I use the GM bra on my C5 and have done so ever since I bought the car nearly 7 years ago. It fits very well, has not damaged the paint and is easy to put on/take off. Best of all it is about $90. As long as you have the mounting snaps under the front fascia and in the wheel wells, it would be easy to swap the bra from car to car. Extra snaps can be bought at a marine supply store.

Nothing wrong with going with a clear plastic film, but the expense will be much greater.

Well, a clear bra is the best. But for a put on/take off bra, Speed Lingerie is absolutely top notch. I had the stretch bra, great until you get in a bit of wet weather. It absorbs water which wicks back toward the fender wells, the material will then get heavy and the wind will push it back and rub the tires. Messes up the fabric a bit. The Speed Lingerie is fits snug, it is work to put it on, mush easier if you let it sit in the sun a bit. Zero movement up to close to triple digits. Protects against just about anything. I have them for both of my cars.

I have the GM bra and it fits snug and does not move. I installed marine snaps for ease of installation. It kept the nose and hood completely chip free. Three years ago I had a clear bra installed on the nose, partial hood and side mirrors and my '99 Corvette still has flawless original paint.

Pops, I have a GM black stretch fabric bra I'd like to sell. It has all the hooks and is in great condition.

I think ours is the GM bra, not sure came with the car when we bought it... it has the little hooks in the wheel well. I does an excellent job of protecting the front. My only complaint is that bugs, somehow get under it and it makes a bump in the cover... not a big deal, just have to clean it out every now and then. Pretty easy to take on and off, wouldn't be to bad for switching back and forth to two cars. No problems in rain...we've driven in some down pours and had no issues with the bra...the best would probably still be the Victoria Secrets Red Lace...

I just went through a massive rain storm in the black hills on Wednesday and my novi stretch did not move or slide back towards the wheels. Never had a problem with it.

I have ordered a novi stretch lace dd black. Thanks for the replies. Cost was much less than the others. It must be a Victoria's Secret knock off.
