Default 2001 White Z06

I have found a 01 white Z for sale. I have a 03 Z so I'm familiar with them. My question is how collectible is this car just because of the low production number? It doesn't have the mod red interior and has a different exhaust and a couple of stupid looking things added to the outside which should come off because they are only cosmetic. I'm taking my 66 to Carlisle next month and thought maybe I could flip this one. What do you think?

Depends on what you have to pay. There are a few in the for sale section for comparison. They do get advertised at a premium but it takes the right buyer and sometimes they sit for a while. Who knows what they actually sell for.

I bought a SW '01 Z last year, clean Carfax (handful of previous owners but that didn't bother me too much because the car was super clean, no leaks, needed zero maintenance, etc.) with 55k miles and I paid $18,900 which I felt was pretty fair.

12.1 at 116.6 with just a vararam, x pipe, and canned tune so it wasn't a slug either.

I paid 13,250 for mine...but it has a 100,000 to go along with the 40k.

In the fall off 2014 I bought my SWZ off the original owner with 24k miles on it and nearly stock (CAI and short throw) for $23k. I was willing to pay for it as it's the Z I always wanted. And to find one stock, one owner, super low miles.....couldn't pass it up.

I stopped and I think I knew more about the car than he did. 102k on the clock and $18k. Nose and front quarters have been painted. I think I'll pass. Thanks for the help.

Taking it to Carlisle? It cost money to both get it there and sell it there. Gotta get it really cheap so you can offer it at a good price so it actually sells. You only have 3 days!

My 66 is on the anniversary display so I'm gonna be there anyway. However that is to many miles and to many dollars.
