Thanks for this info. Its something about the battery that i am leaning towards. I even got a code the other night for a seat position; Any certain name on the battery you bought?
Autocraft Platinum AGM #78-AGM
The battery I got was black instead of silver but was assured it was the same one--just a different case.
Thanks Lonerider. That does however look exactly like the AC Delco that Amazon is selling in post #7.
Using my Zip for a local Advance Auto, it is $35 more than Amazon's price. It does pay to shop around however.

So my comment that retailers could make more money if they chose to recommend more than the minimum is in fact relevant and valid.
Establishment of the minimum (battery) standards for a particular automotive electrical system on a given vehicle is set by the vehicle manufacturer, not the battery manufacturer OR battery retailer.
Btw, ACDs are sold by a wide variety of other sources besides the dealer.
Thought I'd do a follow up on this. All my problems was caused by the ABS unit. I sent it to ABSfixer and it has been two weeks now......no problems or codes! Life is good again
