Default Shift boot, black with red stitching

New shifter/**** and some other thing going in and it's a good time to replace the shift boot.

I'm looking for a black with red stitching to match my mod red interior. (manual if it matters). Any recommendations?

Thx,
Mike

I used a C6 shift boot that matched my C6 ****. Worked out great.

That's a good idea. I want a C6 **** since the MGW version I bought was for a C6 thread

Different color combo but Vette Essentials does create an excellent product.

Check out the "RAT" shift boot at Vette Essentials. They are great to work with and will provide custom parts if you wish. They actually sent me leather swatches to match my Mag Red car and the other parts of my interior. Very supportive.

My recommendation - Vette Essentials. Outstanding quality product and customer service second to none. Have had their products on my last two C5s. But, it depends on your budget - they are more expensive than other alternatives.

I have the MGW too, it's a great combo.

Here is how it turned out. I even kept the C6 shift boot ring instead of transferring the C5 one over. The nice thing is that it locks into the C6 handle and matches up nicely.

I used Redline Goods. Priced right, and the leather texture seems "richer". Like a very natural pattern to it...

What he said! I have their shifter and ebrake boots and their ebrake handle and console cushion cover. (This is an old pic) Good stuff at a decent price.

Perfect exactly what I was thinking of. Although I may go with the Alcantara version of the shifter and boot. Thanks

I wanted something aluminum to separate the **** from the boot, and to match my gauge bezels and pedals. Momo offers a couple shift **** collars in natural and polished finishes. Mine is the natural finish. It can't fit on to anything other than Momo *****, of course, so mine is just held in place from the tension of the boot against the ****. Boot is held in place with a zip tie. My C5R **** has a small diameter and tapered base, so if you get a collar, it might not work with thicker ***** (that's what she said )

Thanks for the info might see if it'll work I have a C6z shifter so the bend might not accommodate it but who knows might try it!
