I read through your revival thread in the C3 section, thanks for the link. I love this type of thread. Great job bringing your Dad's '69 back. What a great thing to do for him. Lots of really detailed pictures.

You have a very nice C5.
Thanks. The C5 is very love it/hate it for me.
I love driving it, it's a blast; but I cannot stand the paint. I hate the Quicksilver with a passion. It's so mottled and hard to match on top of it.
I wanted to sell it a year ago but the wife wanted it in the engagement pictures and it was on my wedding cake (will have to put up a picture).
Was going to go to a widebody C6 car but too many people I know have them. I really want an early Viper. Maybe in a few years I'll swap them out idk.
Not sure if this is a little tacky but it was well received. Got a Bburago silver coupe, repainted the interior black (matte floors/semigloss seats) and cut the roof off so it's targa. My sketched up idea was a little off from what the cake place made...didn't realize the cake was so small, but it worked enough.
Hi! Left a note on the c3 page, but wanted to do the same here. Absolutely a great story about your father, you, and the '69. Just terrific! Thanks for sharing your experience and saving that great '69. Best wishes to you and your father!
