Just to make sure I'm not missing something. Bought the skip shift eliminator from the forum sponsor. 2 pieces - tan w/blue end, and a black cap. Unplug wire from trans. Put tan w/blue piece in (w/no wire connected to it - kinda like a shunt). Put black cap piece over stock connector attached to wire, zip tie outta the way. There's no wire connected then to that part of the trans correct? I felt like there should be something connected there, but the instructions make it look like there's not.
