Interior lights still on

Interior lights still on
I am going to start troubleshooting my newest issue, any input would be appreciated. I have a 02 Z06 and recently found that the interior lights and dash stay illuminated when both doors are closed and the vehicle is locked.
Off the top of my head:
1 - Sensors to detect if the door is closed
2 - Switch within the headlight control ****
Any other ideas? Any way to test the door "switches" (don't know the proper name).

Two things to learn from this.
1.) Read the Owners Manual
2.) Don't touch stuff if you don't know what it does.
(J/K). Would be nice if all fixes were this easy.
