Well my question about the height of aftermarket seats is answered. They are quite a bit taller than stock sport seats and look a little out of place but not as bad as I thought they would look.
Small mod....some new Llyods floor and trunk mats.....Ultimat version....decided to go back to the stock style sport seats....getting new foam and seat covers made by Vette Essentials....hoping to have them back in the car soon.....Corbeau's and the SP550's are still for sale!
Nice touch. Which design did you end up selecting?
Black leather with black suede inserts in center and thigh support area....blue stitching surrounding seat and in 11 threads in center of seat...Corvette script in blue thread.
New seat covers came in....Sandy at Vette Essentials was awesome to deal with...they had also done the shift boot/**** and the boot and handle of the emergency brake....had a local shop do the install after I removed the seats...got them back in today....just in time for a big show on Saturday!!
Love that I have the power and memory functions back....the leather is soft (new foam makes a huge difference)....went with black leather, suede inserts, blue Corvette script and blue stitching...even had map pockets put in.....took some crappy iPhone pics...hope to take some good ones at the show this weekend!!
Next interior mods are leather door sills and seat belt brackets along with a new leather with blue stitching steering wheel...all courtesy of DDMods.
Also installed a SLP rear spoiler from RPI designs just over a week ago....paint matched perfectly....spoiler has a small crease in the middle (can only see it if you get the right angle)....Don at RPI and SLP stepped up and are having another one painted and sent to me....I really dig the look...helped balance the splitter on the front and just added another custom touch.....but subtle.
