Nitrous Kit
I have an 01 Z06 with 111,000 miles. Runs like a dram with no issues. typical bolt ons as far as headers, exhaust, CAI, LS7 clutch, oversized radiator. I would like to add a mild nitrous kit and have around a 100 or 125 shot. What would you suggest and do you see any issues with the mileage. It is just a toy so I would only spray every once in a while during driving. let me know your thoughts. I don't; want to break the bank but want something that is safe to use and will give me a quick shot of power. If anyone has a used kit let me know. I assume it would be best to have a heater, purge and possibly a window switch. I also posted in forced induction section but thought the Z06 section might have some folks with experience on the Z.

I have a complete nitrous outlet kit. With switch, purge valve and a 15lb bottle. Still on my car but am prepared to remove and sell.
Kit sells for 750-800 new with the dash switch.

Heh. Nitrous is absolutely stupid fun on a bolt-on LSx...I know from lots of experience. The weak link is usually the piston ringlands...especially on #8. Do a once-over on your engine including a leak-down test at that mileage. I would go with a window-switch for sure. Use colder plugs and make sure you always have good gasoline. I used a TNT wet kit with great results, but all the top manufacturers offer nice stuff.
